محاضرات بوير
محاضرات بوير هي سلسلة من المحاضرات يلقيها شخصيات أسترالية بارزة، تعرض أفكارًا حول قضايا اجتماعية أو علمية أو ثقافية رئيسية، وتُبث على إذاعة ABC الوطنية . تُبث هذه السلسلة سنويًا بين شهري سبتمبر وديسمبر على إذاعة ABC الوطنية .
تاريخ
بدأت محاضرات بوير في عام 1959 باسم محاضرات هيئة الإذاعة الأسترالية ( ABC ). وقد تم تصميمها على غرار محاضرات ريث التي كانت تُقدمها هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية (BBC) ، [ 1 ] وأعيد تسميتها في عام 1961 نسبةً إلى ريتشارد بوير (الذي أصبح فيما بعد السير ريتشارد)، رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة الإذاعة الأسترالية الذي اقترح المحاضرات لأول مرة.

يُلقي هذه المحاضرات شخصيات أسترالية بارزة يختارها مجلس إدارة هيئة الإذاعة الأسترالية، بهدف تحفيز الفكر والنقاش والحوار في أستراليا حول طيف واسع من المواضيع، ودراسة القضايا والقيم الأساسية. تُبث هذه السلسلة سنوياً بين شهري سبتمبر وديسمبر على إذاعة ABC الوطنية . [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
