سكة حديد ناسا (تقاطع ويلسون)ممر الزحف هو ممر مزدوج بعرض 40 مترًا (130 قدمًا) [ 2 ] في مركز كينيدي للفضاء بولاية فلوريدا . يمتد بين مبنى تجميع المركبات ومنصتي الإطلاق في مجمع الإطلاق 39. يبلغ طوله 5.5 كيلومتر (3.4 ميل) و6.8 كيلومتر (4.2 ميل) إلى منصتي الإطلاق 39A و 39B على التوالي. توجد طبقة من الحجارة بسمك مترين (7 أقدام) أسفل طبقة من الأسفلت وسطح مصنوع من صخور نهر ألاباما.
صُمم الممر الزاحف في الأصل لدعم وزن صاروخ ساتورن 5 وحمولته، بالإضافة إلى برج الإطلاق ومنصة الإطلاق المتنقلة ، فوق ناقلة زاحفة خلال برنامج أبولو . كما استُخدم من عام 1981 إلى عام 2011 لنقل مكوك الفضاء الأخف وزنًا إلى منصات إطلاقه.
ربط إنشاء طريق الزحف جزيرة ميريت بالبر الرئيسي، مشكلاً شبه جزيرة. ويمتد طريق ساتورن كوزواي، وهو الطريق الرئيسي لوصول المركبات من وإلى منصات الإطلاق، بمحاذاة طريق الزحف.
بناء
يتكون الممر الزاحف من حارتين بعرض 12 مترًا (40 قدمًا) ، يفصل بينهما فاصل وسطي بعرض 15 مترًا (50 قدمًا) . الطبقة العلوية مصنوعة من صخور نهر ألاباما، بسماكة 10 سم (4 بوصات) في الأجزاء المستقيمة و 20 سم (8 بوصات) في المنحنيات. تم اختيار صخور نهر ألاباما لخصائصها المتعددة، بما في ذلك الصلابة والاستدارة والكروية ودرجة اختبار التآكل في لوس أنجلوس . [ 3 ] أسفل ذلك، توجد طبقة من الحصى المكسر والمُصنف بسماكة 1.2 متر (4 أقدام ) ، تستند على طبقتين من الردم. [ 2 ] بحلول عام 2013، تم تنفيذ مشروع لإصلاح وتحديث الممر الزاحف، وكانت هذه هي المرة الأولى منذ إنشائه التي يتم فيها إصلاح الأساس. أُضيفت صخور إضافية إلى السطح في يونيو 2014. [ 4 ]

توجهت مركبة أبولو 14 إلى منصة الإطلاق 39A في نوفمبر 1970
بدأ النموذج الأولي لمكوك الفضاء إنتربرايز رحلته على طول الممر الزاحف من منصة الإطلاق 39A إلى مبنى تجميع المركبات في يوليو 1979 بعد سلسلة من فحوصات التركيب.
صورة مقرّبة لممر الزحف في أبريل 2005؛ كانت الصخور في الأصل ملساء، لكنها سُحقت بعد مرور العديد من ناقلات الزحف عليها.
