  • 7 أكتوبر - تدخل هولندا الحرب الدنماركية السويدية لإنقاذ الدنمارك، حيث أرسلت أسطولاً مكوناً من 45 سفينة من فلي .
  • 29 أكتوبر - وصل أسطول هولندا المكون من 45 سفينة إلى الدنمارك وبدأ هجومه المضاد على الجيش والبحرية السويدية بثلاثة أسراب.
  • 6 نوفمبر - نفذت محاكم التفتيش المكسيكية حكم الإعدام حرقاً علنياً بحق 14 رجلاً أدينوا بالمثلية الجنسية، بينما تم إطلاق سراح 109 آخرين تم اعتقالهم أو صدرت بحقهم أحكام أقل قسوة .
